Steve Moody with Rick Flair. Steve Moody with his lovely wife Lori. Steve Moody with Wynonna Judd. Steve Moody has been entertaining in, and around, Maryland since 1989. His flair for performing has enabled his disc jockey service to become his full time profession. As a result, he brings enjoyment to hundreds of people at various celebrations each and every week. Steve's level of professionalism, impressive vocal technique, personable style, consummate work ethic, polished performance ability, and passion for the business have been recognized by his industry peers as well. In 2007 & 2008 he was awarded the honor of competing as a "DJ of the Year" finalist at the annual "International DJ Expo", in Atlantic City, NJ . This enormous event, hosted by DJ Times Magazine, brings together the best in the business from all over the country. Steve's one-man show has built a solid reputation for service and professionalism with both clientele and industry peers alike. In fact, his service is regularly recommended by former clients, management at local catering venues, and even other colleagues in the disc jockey industry.

In addition to his mobile DJ Service, his talents have been heard "on-air" at Baltimore's 93.1 WPOC... and also as morning show host at Easton's 96.7 WCEI radio. His work in radio proved to be a great tool to help promote his private dj service. A couple of Steve's more memorable radio interviews featured country music star Wynonna Judd and Pro Wrestling's 15-Time World Champion Ric Flair, both pictured above. Even though he had an extremely successful tenure "on-air", he has always been most happy performing in front of a live audience.

Though natural talent and desire to entertain play large parts in his success, Steve credits his education in the performing arts with giving him that little "something extra". After a college career that included courses in music, public speaking and relations, and theatre, as well as activities with the Music and Theatre Departments, Steve graduated in 1996 from Towson State University with a Bachelors' Degree in Mass Communications. He believes his formal education in the business shows at every event, and gives him an edge in the field.

As a full time professional, Steve continues to regularly strengthen and rejuvenate his presentation by attending educational industry seminars and workshops. In addition, he keeps close tabs on business trends in music, equipment, and performance by subscribing to the leading publications for the mobile disc jockey profession. In short, he is constantly educating himself to bring his clients new and exciting ideas for their special events.
